Video duration: 134 seconds Hello ! This is an old challenge I worked on. I modulated the song from Eb to D, then arranged it for the lap steel in my new favorite tuning, Dm7 (DADFAC). I believe my technique has improved since my last videos, my bluesy feeling too. Intonation is a risky business with bar slants (at least in my hands) ! I've started playing in DADFAC to have a better access to both major and minor chords (and 7th) on the lap style guitar, and to develop its "rythm guitar" personality. I started playing some standards such as this one. I am so used to play in D major that that hawaiian guitar sounds "exotic" playing so many minor chords ! I hope you enjoy this video.
